Tips for Accurate Calculations:

- For irregular shapes, break them down into multiple rectangles or triangles
- Add 10-15% extra material to account for compaction and waste
- Consider the depth carefully - most projects require 2-4 inches of material

Quickly estimate coverage for your commercial projects using these guidelines:
- 3/8" Rock: Approximately 120 sq ft per ton at 2" depth.
- 5/8" Rock: Approximately 100 sq ft per ton at 2" depth.
- 5/8"-1" Blend: Approximately 90 sq ft per ton at 2" depth.
- 1" Rock: Approximately 90 sq ft per ton at 2" depth.
- 2-3" Rock: Approximately 60 sq ft per ton at 2" depth.
- 3-5" Rock: Approximately 40-50 sq ft per ton at 2" depth.
